Carepoint Medical Solutions is required to maintain the privacy and security of your protected health information. We are also required to provide this Notice, follow the terms of this Notice, notify you if we are unable to agree to certain requested restrictions, and notify affected individuals in the event of a breach of unsecured protected health information as required by law.

Carepoint Medical Solutions may update this Notice from time to time. Any updated Notice will apply to the information we maintain and will be made available upon request or posted publicly, as appropriate.

Text Messaging and Electronic Communications

Carepoint Medical Solutions may communicate with patients through text message, phone, email, patient portal, or other electronic communication methods, where permitted. These communications may include appointment reminders, care reminders, billing notices, service updates, patient service messages, or other healthcare-related communications.

Message and data rates may apply. You may opt out of text messaging by following the instructions provided in the message, such as replying STOP where applicable.

Please understand that standard SMS text messaging may not be fully secure. For this reason, Carepoint Medical Solutions will make reasonable efforts to limit sensitive information in text messages and may direct patients to a secure communication method when appropriate.

No mobile opt-in or text message consent will be shared with third parties for marketing purposes.

Business Associates and Vendors

Carepoint Medical Solutions may work with vendors, service providers, and business associates that perform services on our behalf. These organizations may support activities such as billing, communications, technology services, patient engagement, compliance, records management, or other operational services.

When these organizations have access to protected health information, they are expected to use, disclose, and safeguard such information only as permitted by law and contract.

Carepoint Medical Solutions will not retaliate against you for filing a complaint.
