Multi-FLO DVT Combo IC-1545-DL

Intended Use

The Multi-FLO DVT Combo IC-1545-DL Intermittent Pneumatic Compression system has been designed to allow patients the freedom to provide DVT Prophylaxis as well as the reduction of acute post-operative edema in the comfort of their own homes.


The Multi-FLO DVT Combo offers three types of therapy: Bilateral Calf

  • Intended for prophylaxis of deep vein thrombosis


Bilateral Foot

  • Intended for prophylaxis of deep vein thrombosis
  • Enhancement of venous and arterial circulation
  • Prevention of venous stasis ulcers
  • Assists in healing of cutaneous ulcers


Unilateral Cold Therapy

  • Intended to help reduce pain and swelling of the ankle, knee or shoulder directly following surgery
  • Provides more rapid healing time while enchancing the body's normal process of tissue regeneration

(This form of therapy is used simultaneously with the calf mode)

Use of this device is contraindicated for patients with:

  1. Any local condition of the extremity that would interfere with its application, including, but not limited to: Dermatitis, Immediately following vein ligature, Gangrene, Skin grafts, Casts or splints
  2. Severe arteriosclerosis or other ischemic vascular disease
  3. Pulmonary edema
  4. Congestive heart failure
  5. Suspicion or confirmation of the presence of existing DVT
  6. Infections of the limb, including cellulitis without appropriate antibiotic coverage for at least 72 hours prior to treatment
  7. Presence of lymphangiosarcoma
  8. Inflammatory phlebitis or episodes of pulmonary embolism
